Animated film electricity storage in the city
Client: Institute for Ecological Economy Research (IÖW)
Energy from the box
I created this animated film for the ESQUIRE project of the Institute for Ecological Economy Research (IÖW) using Cinema 4D in low poly style. It shows how renewable electricity can be stored decentrally in cities in the future in the form of a so-called smart district storage system. These could make an important contribution to the energy transition. For the background music, Martin Köherschmidt once again recorded a piece tailored to the film. The voiceover, which guides the viewer through the world of Rosie – the main character – is by Susanne Trapper.

Parallel to the animated film, I also created the interactive infographic for the website www.stromspeicher-in-der-stadt.de
