Mushroom instead of plastic
I designed several posters on the topic of “new materials” for Chemie-Cluster Bayern. This infographic shows how fungal mycelium could replace existing plastic materials such as polystyrene. This would be a great opportunity to produce building materials, packaging, insulation and sealing materials, furniture and interiors, as well as leather substitutes in textiles, from sustainable materials.
