A breath of fresh air in bright green
In cooperation with the sympra agency in Stuttgart, I was able to manage an enormously extensive project: Together we developed the new look for the magazine Wissensdurst (Thirst for knowledge), the knowledge magazine of the Leibniz WissenschaftsCampus Tübingen, Cognitive Interfaces. While my colleagues at sympra took care of the texts and the beautiful portraits of the four featured researchers, I had the task of designing the entire look of the magazine. I was given the maximum amount of creative freedom for a designer. In addition to the entire editorial design, including typography, color scheme and icons, I was also responsible for selecting the photographs and designing the illustrations and infographics. I was the art director, picture editor and illustrator all in one.

A heart for design
It is extremely rare for such a large project to run as smoothly as it did in this case. It was a really very successful, extremely sympathetic collaboration at all levels. Many thanks to the sympra team and Mirjam Groß from the Leibniz-WissenschaftsCampus Tübingen for their great trust in my work as a designer!
