Turning cold tumors hot

I created this infographic and animation for Boehringer Ingelheim to explain the field of cancer immunology – how to turn cold tumors hot – a very tricky point because more than half of cancer patients have tumors that are invisible to the immune system. That’s because they manipulate checkpoints on T cells so they can’t attack the tumor. Turning these “cold” tumors “hot” and combining multiple therapies will complete the cancer-immunity cycle and cause cancer cells to die.
